It certainly can be challenging yet hugely rewarding to work with horses that have been through any trauma but the PACE model gives us a great framework to support their healing – just remember to apply it to yourself in those challenging or despondent moments too and you will get there! I am also trying to connect with a horse who’s had a troubled past.
